Starlight Express

Starlight Express is a story-driven sci-fi transport company/life sim RPG currently in development Inspired by Stardew Valley and Mass Effect. The idea is to blend the day-to-day maintenance and management gameplay loop of life sim RPGs like Stardew Valley and Harvest Moon with the grand, operatic choice/consequence drama of the Mass Effect series, subverting the relaxing routine groove players seek in the former with high stakes melodrama and escalating tensions as interdimensional catastrophe looms!
Roles: Lead Designer, Creative Director, Gameplay Designer, Systems Designer, Narrative Designer (implemented with (Dialogue System for Unity”), Co-Writer & Art Director
Candy Core Crisis: Defend Lollipop Lake!
Candy Core Crisis is a flight combat simulator with light tower defense/RTS elements! Play as a ragtag, candy themed mercenary group tasked with defending the natural resources of Lollipop Lake!

A Princesa do Coração
"A Princesa do Coração" (The Heart Princess in English) is a deeply personal visual novel that ambitiously blends delicate pixel art with traditional non-digital paintings. Team Croissant pixel artist and illustrator Bárbara Victoria chose to make a game for her undergraduate thesis and the team was more than happy to help!

Pixelart & Low Poly 3D
As a child of the 90s, I grew up with the SNES and the N64 at home, so I have a soft spot for that era of graphics. As a designer, I also believe I should be at least familiar with all aspects of making a game, so I have studied 3D modeling and pixel art to some degree. As it turns out, I really love both mediums as a craft, so whenever I have some free time, or whenever I join a game jam as something other than lead designer, I always try to get in some Blender or Aseprite sessions!
